Write down 3 factors of the number that are greater than 100.

2^4=16
16X11=176
3^5=243
243X11=2673
7^2=49
49X11=539
2^4 X 3^5 X 7^2 X 11=2 095 632

The 3 factors of 2 095 632 greater than 100 are 176, 2673 and 539.

The Prime factorisation of two numbers are 2 X 3^2 X 7^3 X 13 and 3 X 7^2 X 13^3 X 17 .

Write down 3 common factors of the numbers.

2 X 3^2 X 7^3 X 13 =80 262
3 X 7^2 X 13^3 X 17 =5 490 303

The 3 common factors of 80 262 and 5 490 303 are 1, 3 and 7.

Answer: Yes, I do not agree. Because its true. The number 4 is a even number that is greater than the number 2 but it can be expressed as a sum of two prime numbers.

12 January: Numbers as a Language

The Roman Numeral number system would probably be my choice to represent the year 2010. I think Roman Numeral suits 2010 best because its numeral way of writing 2010 is somewhat similar to 2010, MMX. 20 is two times of 10 that why there have to be twice the amount of same numeral to represent 20 to 10. In roman numeral 2010 is MMX. As shown there is 2 MM and 1 X. Thats the reason I chose roman numeral to represent 2010.

Communication is important because it help us to stay connect with one another.

2 What is/are your favourite form/s of communication? Why?

My favourite form of communication is by calling someone using the phone. It is much more convenient than any other form of communication.

3 How do you decide which form of communication to use in a situation?

It depends on the confidentiality of the data.

4 What difficulties do you face in communicating with others?

Language barrier and age gap.

Amazing race-Reflection

I understand that learning is unlimited. We shouldn’t only learn whats in the textbooks and in the classrooms, but beyond the textbooks,beyond the classroom. This value is important as SST is a school that uses applied learning and wielding only the knowledge we learn from the classroom and the textbooks isn’t enough for us. We had to have knowledge beyond the textbooks and the classrooms to advance.

Team Building Challenge-Personal Reflection

I understand that "Excellence" isn't something always there. It will only be there if you put in effort to make it come true. "Forging Excellence" is putting in effort to make something "Excellent". The strength I think I possessed that can help me achieve excellence is the way I handle things calmly and seriously. I think I must be more patience in the things I am doing and not so rash in everything. If I can cultivate these attributes or attitudes, I think I am definitely able to excel in the things I do. I can contribute to my class success by doing what I am supposed to do and to remind my fellow classmates to do what they are supposed to do. But we all havr one thing in common., and it is to follow the school rule.

Personal Reflection

I feel that working in a team on the bridge we got to have mutual respect. We have to support each another’s view and comment. I think the interaction between me and my group member was rather good. We get to vote for our view.I learnt to give my view on different matters and to listen to others view. I would do my best to support the best idea and respect my peers. I did experience fear because I am afraid the my group members won’t like my idea so I dare not give my views and I am also afraid that my view would pull them down.
